Athenia Gordon has dedicated her career to community impact through education, nutrition, and engagement. She earned a bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Prairie View A&M University and is pursuing a master’s in public administration from the University of Phoenix. Athenia began as a nutritionist with Harris County Public Health- WIC and later worked as an Inspector IV for Texas Health and Human Services. In 2021, she became a Faith-Based and Community Engagement Specialist for Texas DFPS. Athenia enjoys family time with her husband, Brandon, and her son, Jeremiah, music, and exploring new foods.
