Adopted from Russia with her siblings and losing her adoptive mother at 11, Anna faced many challenges but discovered a passion for social work. College studies and working as a teacher’s assistant revealed the importance of early childhood connections, leading her to pursue a social work degree at the University of Houston. Anna’s experiences have strengthened her and inspired a commitment to helping others, learning about foster care, and improving her communication skills.
